We are looking for site opportunities for The UPS Store locations. Are you a commercial broker, shopping center developer or retail property manager? You can submit a site for consideration or download our regional flyers to find the appropriate developer in your area.
Are you responsible for outsourcing postal, shipping and document services at a convention center, college campus, hotel or another facility that would benefit from one of our locations? Submit a site for consideration or e-mail our Special Venues Development department.
The UPS Store and Mail Boxes Etc. locations combined form the world's largest franchised network of retail shipping, postal business service centers.
Our customer base consists of Small Office Home Office (SOHO) workers, small to medium sized businesses and residential customers. A full range of services include:
- Shipping
- Packaging
- Mailbox and U.S. Postal Services
- Document services
- Moving Supplies
- Other products & services such as computer rental, notary and more
Traditional locations of The UPS Store concept are found within these types of areas:
Anchored shopping centers, highly visible retail corridors or stand-alone locations such as supermarkets, pharmacies and mass merchandisers
Financial and business districts
The following criteria are preferred for a traditional location:
- 800 to 1,800 square feet
- Highly visible, grocery and/or drug store anchored shopping centers, strip centers, retail corridors or stand-alone sites
- Unobstructed store signage and visibility from road and shopping center
- High traffic counts
- Easily accessible parking - storefront, 15 minute parking spaces preferred
- Glass frontage (20' wide or more) and rear door for delivery and pick-up preferred
- Adjacent to or located in market areas with commercial business and professional office parks, universities, medical centers, tourist areas, etc.
Non-traditional The UPS Store concept are found within these types of locations:
Special Venues: Hotels and convention centers, universities, military installations and store-within-a-store locations such as supermarkets and mass merchandisers.
The following criteria are preferred for a non-traditional location:
- 600 to 1,500 square feet
- Unobstructed store signage and high visibility
- High traffic counts
- Easily accessible from parking and/or entrance
